MUST READ! From Adipurush To Zero; List Of Films That Were Hyped And Disappointed The Audience

Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and other A-list actors star in ‘Adipurush’. The epic retelling of the ‘Ramayana’ was directed by Om Raut of ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior fame’. ‘Adipurush’, however, fell short of the general public's expectations. Some of Prabhas' supporters have also criticised the film for its poor visual effects. But there are other films on the list besides ‘Adipurush’. There are other Indian films on the list that, despite the excitement, fell short of what fans had hoped for.

As soon as the audience saw the movie, they began to criticise the dialogue, the portrayal of each ‘Ramayana’ character, and the casting choices as well. Memes quickly spread around the internet.

‘Zero’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif, received universal criticism. Fans did not respond favourably to the plot, and SRK took a lengthy vacation of nearly 5 years.

Thugs Of Hindostan

As implied by the title, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was produced on a grand scale. However, the film starring Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh was a complete flop.

Mohenjodaro

Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde's film was one of the most anticipated ones by Ashutosh Gowariker. But it did not meet the audience's expectations.

Jagga Jasoos

‘Jagga Jasoos’ is a kid's movie, claims Anurag Basu who helmed the movie. While it caters to the group, the masses could not enjoy it. Anurag and Ranbir Kapoor previously worked in Barfi.

Laal Singh Chaddha

The final (most recent) movie directed by Aamir Khan. Kareena Kapoor Khan was a supporting actor. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, a Forrest Gump remake, received universal disapproval.

Jab Harry Met Sejal

Imtiaz Ali's ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, has a fantastic teaser and music. However, the movie was not well received by the fans.

Bombay Velvet

Karan Johar, who made his acting debut, also appeared in the Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma movie. The historical drama movie was well-liked. However, it did not appeal to fans.

‘Rangoon’, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut, is really included in the list. Although it was eagerly awaited, the fans were unimpressed.
