In answer to the recent video that showed Nana Patekar hitting a fan on set, the actor said in a video shared by ANI that what happened was for a scene in his next movie. According to him, the scene starts with a boy coming up to him and asking to buy his hat. In response, he hits the boy. Patekar said that at first, he thought the fan was a member of the team working on the scene, but later he found out it was really a fan.

Anil Sharma, the director, agreed with Patekar's story and said that the scene was from their movie 'Journey,' in which Patekar's character has memory. Sharma said that the scene was about a fan asking the actor for a picture, and that the video was taken out of context, which caused pointless trouble.
There will be more filming for 'Journey' by Nana Patekar in Varanasi for two more weeks. The movie also has Utkarsh Sharma in it, who is known for his part in 'Gadar 2.'
