Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s next will meet a theatre release and not OTT!

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a prime example of climbing the ladder of success. From playing the roles of extras in films like ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ to headlining shows like ‘Sacred Games’ the actor has voyaged his way to the top. The actor now stands strong with work like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Raees’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Petta’ and ‘Kick’ under his belt. The star is an inspiration to many and speaks up often about the discrepancies in the industry when it comes to type-casting, Hindi films written in English and more. The star will soon be seen on the big screen with his upcoming film ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ alongside Neha Sharma. Actor Neha Sharma has carved a space in the entertainment industry, with films like ‘Crook’, ‘Tum Bin 2’, ‘Mubarakan’ and ‘Tanhaji’.

The upcoming film ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ is a romantic comedy located in Lucknow and Varanasi. Earlier, it was rumoured that the film will directly be released on an OTT platform. These rumours have been squashed as the makers have cleared the air stating the film will first premiere in theatres before being accessed on OTT. About the current status of the film, the shooting was done during the period of the pandemic and is in post-production. The makers are yet to announce the date for the release of the film. This Kushan Nandy directorial is produced by Naeem A Siddiqui.

The two actors are collaborating on screen for the first time. But fans of the stars know that a quirky sense of humour can be expected in the film. Apart from this film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ opposite Avneet Kaur, Noorani Chehra, Adbhut, Sangeen and Afwaah.
