Neeraj's exceptional performance saw him achieve an impressive throw of 88.17 metres during his second attempt, maintaining his lead throughout the competition. Arshad Nadeem from Pakistan, the reigning Commonwealth Games champion, secured the silver medal with a throw of 87.82 metres, while Jakub Vadlejch from the Czech Republic secured the bronze by achieving a best throw of 86.67 metres.

Notably, this marks Neeraj's second medal at the World Championships, building upon his silver medal achievement in the previous year.
