Neetu Kapoor opens up about being trolled after Rishi Kapoor’s demise

Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has started facing the camera again to keep herself busy after the demise of her superstar husband Rishi Kapoor. While some of her fans are extremely happy to see her back on the screen, there are also people who troll her for ‘enjoying’ her life after the death of her husband.
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor lost his life in 2020, after battling cancer for two years. His last film Sharmaji Namkeen (2022) was released recently and received overwhelming response from the audience.
In a recent chat, Neetu Kapoor opened up about getting attacked by the trolls. “There are some who say things like her husband is dead and she is enjoying. They want to see that crying widow type, you know, there is a section of people. This is the way I want to be; this is the way I will be; this is the way I will heal. There are some people that cry and heal. Some people do laugh and heal. I cannot forget my husband, she said.
She further said, “Even today when we meet for a meal half of the time we only discuss how we miss him.”
Neetu Kapoor is set to make her acting comeback after seven years with Raj Mehta’s comedy-drama film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul.
