Neha discussed how Angad and she enjoyed a ‘nonlinear wedding’ in an interview. She continued by describing how, despite her parents' approval, they were granted around three days to get married when they told them she was pregnant. According to a publication's quote from her “When we went and broke the news to my parents, they were like okay, this is great. But you have 72 hours before we turn this around. Let’s get married. I was given two and a half days to then go back to Bombay and get married.”
The 42-year-old actress also talked about having to cope with a lot of snide remarks about her pregnancy on the internet. She claimed in her interview with the media outlet that there is no harm in doing what one wants or what makes them happy because doing so is not harmful to anyone.
