Famous Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar took to Instagram and shared a cryptic note amid backlash and online trolling for remaking Falguni Pathak's 1999 song Maine Payal Hai Chhankaai.
Neha's post read: "If talking in such a manner, saying such bad things about me, abusing me makes them feel good and if they think it will ruin my day. Then I'm sorry to inform them that I'm too blessed to have bad days. This God's child is always happy because God himself/herself is keeping me happy."
"For those who're so unhappy seeing me HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL. I feel sorry for them. Bechare. Plz keep commenting I won't even delete them, Coz I Know and Everybody knows what NEHA KAKKAR is," she wrote in another story.
Interestingly, Falguni Pathak has also expressed displeasure over Neha's remake version titled O Sajna. Sharing a fan's reaction criticising Neha, the former has made it clear that she is not happy with Neha for remaking her song.
Noteworthy, Falguni Pathak's Maine Payal Hai Chhankaai had released in 1999 and featured Vivan Bhatena and Nikhila Palat, who shot to instant fame after the track became a national rage.
Meanwhile, Neha Kakkar's O Sajna features Bigg Boss fame Priyank Sharma and Dhanashree Verma. The lyrics have been composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
However, the song has faced severe backlash, with fans asking Neha not to ruin classics. They have also criticised the picturisation as well as the lyrics of the song.
