No concrete evidence against Aryan Khan: NCB’s Special Investigation Team

After conducting an intensive investigation for several months, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has come to the conclusion that Aryan Khan was not a part of the drug conspiracy that he was accused of being involved in. According to reports, the SIT has not found any evidence that serves as an indication of Aryan Khan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or operating on behalf of an international drugs trafficking syndicate.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, officials have stated that, “Aryan Khan was never in possession of drugs hence there was no need to take his phone and check his chats; the chats do not suggest Khan was part of any international syndicate; the raid was not video-recorded as mandated by the NCB manual, and the drugs recovered from multiple accused arrested in the case shown as single recovery.”
The report also brought to the fore the fact that the NCB’s drug bust on the cruise was not recorded on video. This is quite surprising given the fact that raids are bound to be recorded on video so that it can be used in a court of law. What is also strange is the fact that narcotic substances were recovered from multiple individuals but the NCB declared it to be a single recovery.
NCB is still continuing with the probe but till now, it hasn’t come across any conclusive evidence against Aryan Khan. The final report is expected to be prepared in the next couple of months and submitted to NCB Director General S N Pradhan.
