Alia Bhatt is one of the finest and most popular actresses in the Bollywood industry. The actress who celebrates her birthday today has a lot of films on her plate along with her soon-to-be-released film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Ranveer Singh. Alia had a great last year as she gave two major hits at the box office, got married to the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor, and also welcomed her first child into this world. The pair became parents to a baby girl and named her ‘Raha’ and since then the two have been on a different journey of parenting.
Last November, she posted an image of her baby daughter with a caption revealing that her name, Raha, was actually chosen by grandmother Neetu Kapoor. However, it has recently been revealed that the name was not Alia's first choice. According to reports, the actress appeared on an episode of the reality show Super Dancer when she expressed her love for the name 'Almaa' and stated her desire to have it for her future baby.
This happened in 2019 when she visited the set of a reality show to promote her film ‘Gully Boy’. "Almaa bohot hi sundar naam hai, main apni beti ka naam Almaa rakhungi," she continued, misspelling one of the contestants' names. According to Alia, the name Raha has several wonderful meanings, including "divine way" in its finest form.
For the unfamiliar, the couple became parents roughly three months after marrying last year at RK's house Vastu in front of their family and close friends.
Alia Bhatt will be next seen alongside Ranveer Singh in the Karan Johar directorial comeback film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She will also start shooting for ‘Brahmastra 2’ with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor.
