Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha recently spoke out about her experience of being caught in the middle of the Israel-Palestine conflict. In a video and a note posted to her Instagram account, Bharuccha described how she was forced to take shelter in a basement during a missile attack.
"I was in Israel for a film festival," Bharuccha said. "On the day of the attack, I was in my hotel room when I heard a loud explosion. I ran out of my room and saw people running everywhere. I didn't know what was happening."
Bharuccha said that she was taken to a basement with other guests at the hotel. They remained there for several hours, listening to the sound of explosions and gunfire.
"It was the most terrifying experience of my life," Bharuccha said. "I've never been so scared. I just wanted to get out of there."
Bharuccha was eventually able to return to India safely. She said that she is grateful to be alive and that she will never forget the experience. She showed her gratitude towards Indian Government and embassy, she also thanked Israel embassy. The actress further mentioned that Indians are very lucky to be in such peaceful country.
Bharuccha's story is a reminder of the dangers of conflict. It is also a reminder of the importance of peace and understanding.
Bharuccha was in Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The festival was canceled due to the conflict.
Bharuccha was not the only celebrity who was caught up in the conflict. Other celebrities who were in Israel at the time included Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, and Mark Wahlberg.
