The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned comedian Kapil Sharma and actors Hina Khan and Huma Qureshi in connection with the Mahadev betting app case. This is after the ED summoned actor Ranbir Kapoor on Thursday.

The ED is investigating the case of money laundering through the Mahadev betting app. The app is allegedly run by Dubai-based Saurabh and Ravi Uppal, and allows users to bet on various online games like poker, card games, chance games, badminton, tennis, football and cricket.
The ED is probing whether the celebrities were paid by the app promoters to promote the app. The agency is also investigating the source of the money that the celebrities received.
Kapil Sharma, Hina Khan and Huma Qureshi have been asked to appear before the ED on Friday. It is not yet clear if the celebrities have been summoned as witnesses or accused.
The Mahadev betting app case is one of the biggest illegal money laundering cases in India. The ED has so far seized assets worth over Rs 400 crore in connection with the case.
