Veteran actor Dalip Tahil was recently sentenced to a 2-month jail term by a Mumbai magistrate court following a drunk driving incident in 2018, where he collided with an auto-rickshaw, resulting in an injury to a woman in Khar, Mumbai.

The court relied on the doctor's testimony, confirming the presence of alcohol through the smell, dilated pupils, unsteady gait, and incoherent speech of the 65-year-old actor.
Tahil, known for his roles in popular films such as 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and 'Baazigar', was last seen in the movie 'IB 71' alongside Vidyut Jammwal and in the web series Mind The Malhotras last year.
