OMG 2: Akshay Kumar's Character CHANGED From Lord Shiva to Messenger Of God, Ujjain's Reference STRIKED OFF And 27 Other Cuts; Check Out The DETAILED REPORT Of The Alterations!

To start, the modification at the beginning of the movie was changed in accordance with the CBFC's guidelines, and it will also be played with a voiceover. Second, instead of playing Lord Shiva, Akshay Kumar is now portraying the Messenger of God. “Nandi mere bhakt...jo agya prabhu” was included as a dialogue. Frontal nudity imagery was deleted, and Naga Sadhus were substituted with more appropriate imagery.

Then, an audio cut was produced in a dialogue of a temple announcement saying, "Mahilayein nahin dekh sakti," referring to women. 'O lal shirt waale bhaiya, baba ka dhyan karte rahe' was used in its place. 'Savoday' was adopted as the new name for the institution. Then, the references to alcohol were removed from the dialogue in "Wahan madira chade hai." A conversation about the High Court was taken out because it was thought to be obscene and derogatory. This discourse did not include any graphics.

Then, a billboard's advertisement for the Mood X condom was taken down. The rat poison bottle's label was changed so that the term "rat" was no longer there. Additionally, allusions to the Shivling, the Shri Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, the Atharvaveda, Draupadi, Pandav, Krishna, the Gopiyan, and Raasleela were deleted from a crucial dialogue. Certain changes were made to the phrase "Taang kyun adhaaon?" that Akshay Kumar mouthed. The sequence in which Akshay Kumar's character is allegedly also seen bathing and practicing meditation was also changed. His character also appears in sequences where he is intoxicated, and those scenes have also been appropriately changed.

Numerous more dialogues were also altered in a similar manner, including "Bade baal dekh kar," "satya shivam sundaram," "hamara desh...peeche nahin hai," and "stree ki yoni." There were other crude gestures that were also cut from the "stree ki yoni" sequence.

Not only were the words and graphics changed in the scene where Kanti (Pankaj Tripathi) queries a sex worker about unnatural sex. The images and words for a character named Dr. Prakah Kothari who discussed masturbation were also appropriately changed. Then, in a conversation regarding masturbation, "Haram" was changed to "Paap."

The sequence where the judge was spotted taking a selfie on the court grounds required some additional visual cuts. This scene was appropriately altered. In several exchanges, the word 'ling' was also altered in a similar way. According to NCPCR (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights) rules, the viral video's depictions of the youngster engaging in sexual activity were significantly reduced. It's interesting to note that the movie, which had its origins in Ujjain, is now based in a fictitious location. Additionally, the CBFC requested that all visual, verbal, and other allusions to specific people in positions of authority, such as Mahant, be eliminated. Last but not least, the producers were required to provide documentation supporting the statistics and facts about sexual activities that were presented in the movie.

The film was censored for 13 minutes in total. The censor certificate was provided to the creators once these cuts were accepted. According to the certificate, the length of ‘OMG Oh My God 2’ is 156 minutes. In other words, the film starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam runs for 2 hours and 36 minutes. The Film will be released in theaters on August 11.
