The teaser for 'OMG 2' released by Akshay Kumar has pleased fans. The teaser was shared by the actor on his social media sites, confirming that he is playing Lord Shiva. The teaser begins with a distressed Pankaj Tripathi pleading with God for assistance. Lord Shiva, played by Akshay Kumar, is then shown coming from the Ganga and reaching out to Pankaj's character, offering his assistance.

Fans were blown away by the actor's entrance sequence, with several admitting they got chills when he emerged from the water. Many people also pointed out the camera perspective in the scene where Akshay welcomes Abhishek under the water pipe. The camera is set up so that Akshay's Lord Shiva gets sprinkled with water while the crescent moon sits precisely on his head. Many people praised the teaser's Nandi reference. Fans praised the teaser on social media, calling it "one of the best they've seen in a long time."

The satirical comedy film is a follow-up to the 2012 smash hit 'OMG- Oh My God!' While the first installment of ‘OMG’ was directed by Umesh Shukla, the second installment is directed by Amit Rai.

On August 11, 2023 'OMG 2' will go on floors, clashing with another highly anticipated sequel, 'Gadar 2,' starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel.
