OMG 2: WHAT! Akshay Kumar GAVE UP Non-Veg During The Filming Of The Movie? Here’s What We Know!

For the release of his forthcoming film ‘OMG 2’, Akshay Kumar is prepared. In the movie, he will be seen as Lord Shiva. He played Lord Krishna in the 2012 release of the ‘OMG - Oh My God’ franchise's debut episode. The actor admitted that playing Lord Krishna was one of his most difficult roles to date in an interview with a portal. But did you know that the actor gave up eating non-vegetarian food while he was filming because he felt so strongly bonded to the character of Lord Krishna?

The actor decided to give up meat at his mother's request because she was a devout disciple of Lord Krishna, not because he was motivated by divine will. She advised him to adhere to Lord Krishna's teachings, which include eating only vegetarian food. Aruna Bhatia, Akshay Kumar's mother, normally avoids the spotlight and his professional matters, but when the actor told her about the movie, she couldn't help but ask him. Being a devoted son, Akshay granted her request and did as she asked.

Today saw the release of the franchise's second installment's teaser. In contrast to the first segment, this one has Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva. Significant roles will also be played by Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, and Pankaj Tripathi in the movie. In the movie, Pankaj plays a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, and Yami plays a lawyer.

The movie, which is being directed by Amit Rai, is scheduled to premiere on August 11. ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, will compete with it at the box office.
