Anil Kapoor has recently confirmed his involvement in a new international project helmed by filmmaker Ritesh Batra. The movie, described as a mature romantic film, explores the emergence of an unconventional relationship between an Indian man and a French woman. This venture marks Batra's return to the director's chair after a four-year hiatus.

A reliable source informed that Kapoor was deeply impressed by the script and has already given his approval. The film is slated to be a significant Indo-French collaboration and is expected to commence filming early next year, pending smooth proceedings.
Notably, this upcoming endeavor will mark Kapoor's third foray into international cinema, following his appearances in the critically acclaimed 'Slumdog Millionaire' (2008) and the action-packed 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' (2011).

Simultaneously, Kapoor is set to play the role of Ranbir Kapoor's father, Balbir Singh, in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Animal.' Alongside Kapoor, the movie features a star-studded cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri. 'Animal' is scheduled for release on December 7, 2023.
