On Independence Day, John Abraham announces new project titled Tariq
Tariq is slated to release on Independence Day in 2023.

Actor John Abraham, who was last seen in Ek Villian Returns (2022), announced a new film on the occasion of India's 75th Independence anniversary on Monday.
Titled 'Tariq', the project will be co-produced by John and will release next year on Independence Day.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the Dostana (2008) actor shared a first poster of Tariq. "Aazadi ki 'Tariq', 15 August, 2023. 'Tariq' is our next creative collaboration with Bake My Cake Films after Tehran and Batla House. Time to celebrate the freedom to tell good stories. #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav. Directed by #ArunGopalan, Produced by thejohnabraham, sandeep_leyzell and shobhnayadav. Written by writish1 and #LalitMarathe (sic)," John captioned the post.
Noteworthy, John Abraham has an interesting slate of upcoming projects, including Pathaan which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. The Yash Raj Film will release on 25 January 2023 in three languages viz. Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Meanwhile, John will also feature in Tehran opposite former Miss Universe Manushi Chhillar. Inspired by true events, the action thriller is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.
