Parineeti Chopra will miss out on Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal due to her commitment to Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila biopic!
Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra set her foot in Bollywood with the 2012 film Ishaqzaade opposite Arjun Kapoor and there has been no looking back for her since then. The agile actress will star in Imtiaz Ali's highly anticipated film Chamkila, which is based on the life of Indian musician Amar Singh Chamkila! The film will also mark Parineeti’s first collaboration with ace director Imtiaz Ali.
However, it may come as a disappointment to Parineeti's fans that she would not be able to work in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal due to major scheduling conflicts between the two productions.
A trade insider disclosed, “Parineeti is going to work with Imtiaz Ali for the first time in her career as the heroine in the ace director’s next, Chamkila. It is a huge moment for her because she has always wanted to creatively collaborate with the visionary director.”
The source added, “She has to get into prep immediately for the shoot, and unfortunately due to this development, she won’t be able to shoot for Animal as there is a major overlap of dates between the two films. So, RK and Parineeti fans will have to wait a little bit longer for a new project to bring them together on screen.”
Given the director's tremendous cinematic aspirations, the Hasee Toh Phasee (2014) actress’s performance will be one that everyone will be looking forward to seeing! As per reports, Diljit Dosanjh has been approached to play the male lead.
