Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan Did Not Charge A Penny For The Film But Still Got ‘THIS’ Whopping Amount

Beginning in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' revived jubilation in Bollywood. At the international box office, the film brought in more than Rs 1,000 crores, or more specifically, Rs 1,050 plus crores. According to recent estimates, Shah Rukh Khan received 60% of the movie's overall revenue as payment for his services. It appears that 'Pathaan' cost 270 crores of rupees to produce. Yash Raj Films, owned by Aditya Chopra, made Rs 333 crores in profit. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly did not demand regular payments from the producers and instead received Rs 200 crores from the business's total profits.

The movie 'Pathaan,' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, reportedly grossed Rs 545 crores in India. In the foreign box office market, it made Rs 396.02 crores. Also highly benefited were the distributors and exhibitors. While distributors abroad made Rs 178 crores, those in India pocketed Rs 245 crores.

A price of Rs 150 crores was paid for the digital and satellite rights. For the Bollywood box office, 2022 has been a drab year. 'Drishyam 2,' 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' 'Gangubai Kathiawadi,' and 'The Kashmir Files' were the only films to be financially successful. No one considered records when making Pathaan, according to Deepika Padukone. The goal was to get people back into the movie theatres and into a good time.
