Every kid enjoys playing with toys. However, not all of them are lucky enough to possess them. It is our responsibility as parents to ensure that the young children who are less privileged have a wonderful childhood. A well-known actress and businesswoman named Preeti Jhangiani has stood up for this cause by contributing toys and games to an NGO called Toybank that cares about giving all children the finest opportunities to learn through play.
When discussing ToyBank's goals, she claims, "The concept was developed to lessen the mental stress and loneliness experienced by young children from low-income households. People can contribute to the effort by giving either brand-new toys or their kids' extra, unused, and in good condition toys. The toys are cleaned, labelled, and separated according to the age range for whom they are intended. When I first learned about Toybank a few years ago, I was overjoyed. I was extremely pleased with their vision and tenacity to use play, games, and toys to engage with less poor children, led by outstanding men and women like Shweta chari. I am happy to contribute in my small way and encourage all mothers to do the same."
In order to work with institutions in both urban and rural India, Toybank creates Play Centers on their property and holds educational play sessions, team-building exercises, and other development workshops at these libraries using toys and board games.
