Priyanka Chopra may be one of Hollywood's biggest stars, but her new Instagram story proves she's still a Desi Girl at heart. The actress felt left out when she wasn't invited to a Bollywood-themed party taking place next door while she was at her LA home for Memorial Day.
On her Instagram Stories, Priyanka Chopra shared a video. The actor is absent from the video, which displays a view from her home with the Bollywood song ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ playing in the background. The Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) actress captioned the video, “Memorial Day weekend in LA… Why wasn't I invited?”

The video shows the lush gardens that surround Priyanka's lavish home. She appears to be filming the scene from her balcony. She is overheard saying, “Memorial Day weekend. Where's this music coming from? Let's go.”
Despite living in the United States and establishing herself in Hollywood, Priyanka retains a strong connection to her Indian heritage. She enthusiastically participates in Indian festivals, shares pictures of herself dressed in Indian attire, and is close with her Indian friends in the United States.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is set to star in the Bollywood flick Jee Le Zaraa. Farhan Akhtar will direct the film, which will feature Priyanka, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif on-screen together for the first time. Ending Things and It's All Coming Back To Me are two Hollywood projects in the works for her.
