Priyanka Chopra WITHDRAW From New York Restaurant Sona Within Two Years of Launch; Here’s Why? (Details Inside)

According to a recent publication by People Magazine on Wednesday, it has been confirmed that Priyanka Chopra is no longer associated with the restaurant. “Priyanka has stepped away from her partnership at Sona," a representative of the actress confirmed to the publication. They also added, "Stepping away from Sona allows her to broaden these ambitions on a more global scale, and she’s excited about the possibilities that await."

Despite her disassociation, Sona's essence, culinary offerings, and physical infrastructure all bear the mark of Priyanka's creativity and dedication. "We're grateful for her partnership and support. While she will no longer be involved as a creative partner moving forward, she remains in the Sona family and we are excited for our respective new chapters ahead." In response to this development, Maneesh K. Goyal, the co-founder and former business partner of Priyanka, conveyed in a statement: "Priyanka has her fingerprints all over Sona."

Beyond her restaurant endeavors, Priyanka Chopra remains engaged in various other ventures. She continues to oversee Sona Home, a luxury brand offering authentic Indian home decor items. Additionally, she owns Anomaly, a brand focusing on natural and cruelty-free hair care products. Under her name, Purple Pebble Pictures, a production house established in 2015, operates as well.

Amidst her diverse endeavors, the actress has recently concluded filming for her upcoming movie, ‘Heads of State’. While initially set to participate in Farhan Akhtar's film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, Priyanka has regrettably opted out of the project due to her commitments in Hollywood.
