Ever since the makers of one of the most-anticipated films, ‘Project K’ announced its cast starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, fans have been eagerly waiting to know more about the film and when it’s coming out. Finally, as we celebrate Mahashivratri across the nation, the makers and the cast of ‘Project K’ unveiled the release date.
The film which is helmed by filmmaker Nag Ashwin is set to hit the silver screens on January 12th, 2024. The poster of the film had a ‘The world is waiting’ tagline written on it. The futuristic series that writer-director Nag has envisaged is the first to be produced by Vyjayanthi Pictures. In February 2020, the production banner's 50th year, the movie was announced. The film's cinematographer is Dani Sanchez Lopez, while Mickey J Meyer is writing the score. The battles of the magnum era and the sci-fi universe will be introduced in the first part. The goal is to make it the biggest movie ever made in India as part of the celebration of 50 years of Vyjayanthi Cinema. The filmmakers are filming both parts simultaneously, and they will be distributed in a manner akin to Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Parts 1 and 2. The creators are now finishing up the post-production phase and finishing up the VFX.
