Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, and Varun Sharma busy shooting for Fukrey 3 as Delhi schedule begins
When filmmaker Mrighdeep Singh Lamba released Fukrey in 2013, it received a huge response in theatres, and the comedy franchise hasn't looked back since. Even the sequel, which was released in 2017, did brilliantly. Fukrey 3 has officially gone into production and has been shooting in Mumbai for the past two weeks. Pulkit Samrat, Manjot, Varun Sharma, and Richa Chadha, among others, will return in the third instalment of the comic series, without Ali Fazal.
The film has now begun with its Delhi schedule. Pulkit Samrat took to Instagram on Sunday to post a set of pictures: one with the clapboard and the other with the cast, which included Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh. Pulkit captioned the photo, "#Fukrey3 aapki seva mein!" and tagged his co-stars and crew mates.
The actors are seen standing in their typical Fukrey avatars in the cheerful photo. Manjot, the actor who plays Lali in Fukrey, also posted the group shot, writing, "Lights-Camera-Fukrapanti."
Mrigdeep Singh Lamba is the director of the comedy film franchise, which is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Ali Fazal had to withdraw from Fukrey 3 owing to scheduling conflicts. According to a report from Mid-Day, the actor pulled out of Fukrey 3 due to a busy filming schedule. Ali, a key character in the Fukrey series, will not appear in the third instalment because he has committed his dates to Vishal Bhardwaj's film Khufiya.
