Rajkummar Rao shares his experience in ‘Kai Po Che’ with the late Sushant Singh Rajput; Saying 'It was heart-breaking'
Rajkummar Rao is a force to be reckoned with. The versatile actor has around half a dozen films, up in line for release. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the various aspects of his career. He even spoke about his experience working with Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kai Po Che’ and how he dealt with the news of his death.
The actor and Sushant Singh had humble beginnings and both made headlines with their successful work in the industry. Rajkummar in remembrance said, “It was heart-breaking. I still remember I was at home and was about to have lunch. I got a call on my landline number a few times and I picked up. A journalist was there and she broke the news to me. I could not believe it.” The actor along with the nation was shell shocked upon hearing the news of this untimely demise.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao has a number of films in the pipeline. An upcoming film is the remake of the Telugu film ‘Hit – The First Case’ alongside Sanya Malhotra. The actor also has ‘Mr. Aur Mrs. Mahi’ opposite Jhanvi Kapoor. Furthermore, Rajkummar Rao will also be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Bheed’, Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree 2’, and Hansal Mehta’s ‘Swagat Hai’.
