Raju Srivastava, a well-known actor and comedian, was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack, and he later underwent angioplasty. Srivastava is being treated in the AIIMS's intensive care unit (ICU).
Dr. Nitish Naik, a professor in the AIIMS department of cardiology, is treating the comedian. The stand-up comedian's business manager claimed that there hasn't been any change in his condition, and there haven't been many good reports about his health, but actor-host Shekhar Suman has provided an important health update regarding the comic.
Taking to Twitter, Shekhar penned, "Good news ..Raju moved his fingers and shoulders..things looking slightly positive according to the doctors.your prayers are working.Keep praying."
The actor had earlier tweeted, "Raju Srivastava hasn't regained consciousness in the last 46 hrs..plz all Indians pray hard for his recovery. We can't afford to lose this gem.Im sure he is going to come back.God is great.Har Har Mahadev."
Srivastav suffered a heart attack while working out in a hotel's gym, for the uninitiated. He currently serves as the Film Development Council of Uttar Pradesh's chairperson.
Srivastava gained fame in 2005 after taking part in the debut season of the stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
