Rakul Preet Singh reveals she is interested in doing a biopic, a historical drama, and a romantic comedy

Rakul Preet Singh has come a long way in her career. She made her acting debut with the Kannada film Gilli in 2009. She went on to bag a number of regional films and landed her first Bollywood break with the film Yaariyan (2014). Following her Bollywood debut, she went on juggling between Bollywood and South films and today, she has established herself among the pan-Indian actors.
In a recent interview, the actress talked about the kinds of movies she would love to star in. Rakul revealed that she has worked on a variety of South films in various genres and that she is open to taking on historical drama roles throughout the conversation. Talking to a news portal, she said, “I don’t know, but anything. Biopics are great stories that must be told. They are stories of achievers which we must tell.”
“I’d love to do an out and out love story. I haven’t done too much. It’s just the beginning, I feel. When I say love story, I mean like DDLJ. I’m a sucker for romance and so I really want to do an out-and-out Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, DDLJ, Jab We Met, something like that,” added the Runway 34 (2022) actress.
On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will be next seen in Doctor G alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Shefali Shah.
