Ram Setu to release on Diwali 2022; Akshay Kumar wraps up filming

On Monday, Akshay Kumar announced that the shooting of his upcoming film Ram Setu is complete and the film will be released on Diwali this year. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma.

The actor took to twitter to announce the end of the shoot with a video from the set. He wrote, "Here’s to the wrap of yet another amazing project: Ram Setu. I learned so much during the making of this film that it was like going to school all over again. We have worked really hard. All we now need is your love."

In the video, Akshay is seen dressed as his character in the movie. The actor, his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez, and his entire team are seen cutting a cake as they successfully complete the shooting of the film. The video ended with a slide that read, "See you in cinemas, Diwali 2022."

Ram Setu is produced by Akshay Kumar’s own banner, Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions, and Amazon Prime Video. The film will feature Akshay as an archaeologist, and it also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha.

Ram Setu will be an action-adventure drama set to release during the Diwali weekend.
