Ranveer Singh lauds SS Rajamouli as RRR continues beating Hollywood films’ collections
Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is all praises for maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli as his latest directorial RRR (2022) continues shattering pre-existing box office records not only in India but worldwide also.
Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles, RRR hit the marquee on March 25 and has been doing thunderous business ever since its release. Apart from doing a terrific business in India, the period drama has been performing extremely well in the international market also, where it has beaten several Hollywood biggies in terms of box office collection.
Singh, who was spotted at the Dubai Expo 2020, praised Rajamouli for the riotous success of RRR. The actor said, “RRR is beating Hollywood movies’ collections. This is a proud moment for Indian cinema.”
Commenting on Rajamouli’s unmatched directorial skills, he said, “We got to love the way Rajamouli sir tells the stories.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is presently awaiting the release of his next film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is set to enter cinemas on May 13, 2022.
He will follow Jayeshbhai Jordaar with Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde.
The actor has also teamed up with Karan Johar for his next directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan.
