Jayeshbhai Jordaar, starring Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey, is one of the year's most anticipated films. The celebrity will be seen speaking out against issues such as female foeticide and gender inequality. In fact, the trailer for Jayeshbhai Jordaar has piqued the interest of fans, as Ranveer is seen in an intriguing role in the film. To add to the excitement, it has been reported that the filmmakers intend to release the first track from the film, Firecracker, today. Ranveer finally opened up about the song ahead of its release, revealing that he performed it without the assistance of a choreographer.
Ranveer Singh said that the makers wanted him to show the original characteristics of Jayesh in the song, he further said “Maneesh Sharma and Divyang Thakkar were clear that since I have performed the character and gone through his entire journey, they wanted me to do a freestyle dance, just as Jayesh would. They were sure that they wouldn’t choreograph the song. Barring the hook step, I was left to dance the way Jayesh would.”
Ranveer also stated that while Jayesh has always been an endearing man with a great love for life, the moves slipped out of him while playing the character in this feel-good music.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar, directed by Divyang Thakkar, also stars Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in important roles. It should be noted that this will be Shalini's Bollywood debut. Jayeshbhai Jordaar is set to hit theatres on May 13 of this year.
