Famous Bollywood rapper Raftaar and his interior designer wife Komal Vohra have opted for divorce after six years of marriage. The two had reportedly lived apart for a significant amount of time.
Their divorce is reportedly scheduled to become official in October 2022. Rumour has it that Raftaar and Komal initially planned to split in 2020, but that process was slightly delayed by COVID-19. Raftaar and Komal have both unfollowed each other on social media. They’ve also deleted each other’s pictures.
According to reports, Raftaar and Komal's problems began "only a few days after their marriage." Their close friends are aware that the two have been living apart for some time.
An insider revealed, “Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial.” Komal Vohra also acknowledged the separation but firmly declined to provide any details. However, the pair has not yet released a formal statement.
A mutual friend introduced Raftaar and Komal Vohra. Before getting married in 2016, the two dated for almost five years. The singer shared a photo from their wedding ceremony at that time on his official social media account. He had added the caption "MARRIED TO MY SOUL MATE" with a red heart emoticon.
Raftaar has performed on a number of superhit songs, including Haseeno ka Deewana from the film Kaabil (2017) and All Black, among others. He appeared in three seasons of Roadies as a gang leader as well.
