Rashmika Mandana To Star Alongside Vicky Kaushal In Her Fourth Bollywood Film? (Details inside)

Rashmika Mandanna is without a doubt one of the most promising and beautiful actresses working today. The actress, who began her career in South Indian cinema, has successfully stretched her wings in Bollywood as well. Rashmika Mandanna has made a name for herself in the Hindi film business. She has appeared in two Hindi films, beginning with ‘Goodbye’ and ending with ‘Mission Majnu’.

She garnered a lot of praise and acclaim for her work as Srivalli in Allu Arjun's ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. She rose to prominence following the success of her popular dance number Sami Sami from the same film. With Pushpa, she became a pan-India sensation, landing back-to-back films in Bollywood and impressing with her talent. According to the most recent reports, she has signed on for yet another Hindi film.

Within a year, the career ladder, having landed her fourth Bollywood film while another is in the works. Rashmika Mandanna debuted in Bollywood alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Mission Majnu, her second film, starred actor Sidharth Malhotra. Their chemistry in the spy thriller was fantastic. ‘Animal’, the third and yet-to-be-released film, stars Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor. The highly anticipated film is being billed as a gangster drama.

So far, these have been her Bollywood projects. Her next picture, which will be made specifically for the Hindi market, is said to star a national award-winning actor. The film in question is called ‘Chhava’, and it is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's legacy. Rashmika is reportedly cast alongside Vicky Kaushal in the pivotal role of Yesubai Bhonsale, Sambhaji Maharaj's wife. Chhava will be a pan-Indian historical film about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's eldest son.

Laxman Utekar will direct Rashmika Mandanna's fourth Bollywood film. Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films will finance it. Chhava's is now in pre-production and is set to begin filming in September of this year. More details about the film are still being kept under wraps.

Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen in the sequel to her last blockbuster smash ‘Pushpa’. Fans are looking forward to ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, in which she will reprise her role as Srivalli alongside Allu Arjun. ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is set to be released later this year.
