Legal Action Against Rashmika Mandanna's Deepfake Video:
The city police filed a FIR, using sections 465 and 469 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66C and 66E of the Information Technology Act as reasons. This is the next step. In addition to trying to find the account that made the video, the cops are also looking for information on the people who shared it.
A expert team is working hard on the case and is optimistic that it will be solved quickly. Not only that, but the Delhi Commission for Women has also taken notice and told the cops to go after the people who made and shared the fake video.
