Rashmika Mandanna, the birthday girl, says it was a dream come true to sign Ranbir Kapoor's Animal
Rashmika Mandanna celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday, i.e, 5th April,2022. The Geetha Govindam (2018) actress has signed another Bollywood project, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, and she is set to co-star opposite none other than the heartthrob of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor. Following Parineeti Chopra's decision to drop out of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, Rashmika Mandanna was announced as the female lead, a few days back.
Rashmika, when asked about landing the role, stated, "I am so thrilled that the announcement is finally out. I had been waiting to tell the world about it, because not only is the story is so amazing but also the team I get to work with. It’s like a dream come true. I’m looking forward to this summer, and honestly can’t wait for the film to go on floors soon."
She recalled her reaction to hearing the official announcement as follows: "The announcement happened while I was on sets of Goodbye. The past few days have been truly overwhelming, as I can finally talk about Animal and other upcoming projects."
Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani are the producers of Animal. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol also star in the film.
Rashmika Mandanna's most recent film was Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu (2022), which was released in Telugu. Apart from the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, she will be seen in Mission Majnu opposite Siddharth Malhotra and Goodbye alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
