Tiger 3 release is just round the corner and Salman Khan's fans can't be more excited. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Kabir Khan's iconic collaboration in the 2012 film 'Ek Tha Tiger' became such a hit that we were treated with 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and now 'Tiger 3'. This popular franchise is definitely one of the most commercial successes of Salman. However, did you know that he wasn't even the first choice for the film?
Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice for 'Ek Tha Tiger':
Well, 'Ek Tha Tiger' was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan. Yash Raj Films, the powerhouse behind 'Ek Tha Tiger', originally approached Shah Rukh Khan for the role, but fate had other plans. Having already portrayed similar roles, such as in 'Don', and gearing up for another Yash Raj Films venture, 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', Shah Rukh's tight schedule couldn't accommodate 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The superstar graciously recommended the role to Salman Khan, who seized the opportunity, eventually securing one of the biggest blockbusters of his career.

Speaking candidly about the decision, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he holds no regrets about rejecting the project. The film not only catalyzed Salman and Katrina's enduring friendship with Kabir Khan but also laid the foundation for a series of successful collaborations. Salman and Kabir went on to create magic with 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Tubelight', while Katrina starred in Kabir's action-packed thriller 'Phantom', sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan.
And now, we can't even imagine the 'Tiger' franchise without Salman. Meanwhile, SRK collaborated with YRF for 'Pathaan'. It was released earlier this year and became one of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood.
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Tiger 3' will release on November 12.
