In Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal held lavish wedding celebrations, parties, and ceremonies.
Richa recently shared a photo of her mehendi-covered palm on social media, revealing her brand-new tattoo of Ali's name in Urdu. Around the time of their recent wedding festivities, the star had Ali's name tattooed on her wrist since she wanted it to be a surprise for him. Richa had previously tattooed the names of her parents on the other wrist.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and private matters, the couple was unable to celebrate their union until two years after their official nuptials in 2020.
After seven years of relationship, Ali proposed to Richa Chadha in 2019. In 2020, they officially registered their marriage. The two celebrated their union with a series of activities spread over three locations. Their co-stars, friends, and family attended Richa and Ali's wedding reception earlier this month in Mumbai. Several celebrities, including Tabu, Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal, were present.
At the recent Diwali party in Mumbai hosted by actor Ayushmann Khurrana, Ali and Richa made their public debut as a married couple. Ali recently admitted in an interview that he has not observed many marriages succeed in real life. He claimed that in his situation, he would act in opposition.
When asked to name the largest myth about marriage that he aims to dispel, Ali discussed his opinions about marriage during a conversation with GQ.
When Ali spoke, "In my experience, very few marriages succeed, therefore I'd like to refute that. But aside from that, Richa and I have a spiritual experience. And I'm grateful to her for that because it has increased my spiritual awareness. I was confused and delighted yet off-balance, which I believe is the whole point—to identify that and go with it."
