Rohit Saraf fills in for Shahid Kapoor in Ishq Vishk Rebound; expresses gratitude to fans
Rohit Saraf is on a roll following the announcement of his upcoming film, Ishq Vishk Rebound. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2003 film, Ishq Vishk, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
Rohit Saraf is all set to step in the shoes of Shahid Kapoor in the film. The film also marks the debut of Hrithik Roshan’s cousin, Pashmina Roshan, and also stars Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001) actor Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal.
In a statement, Rohit expressed his excitement, saying, “Today, as I share what I’ve known for a few months, with the world, I realise no matter how hard I try, my imagination would have never done justice to every emotion I feel at this moment. ‘One day is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in – reassuring, empowering, incredibly happy – and I’m never leaving! Thank you to every single one of you, who have loved, supported, and held me as I crawled and took baby steps the past 8 years.”
Ishq Vishk Rebound is produced by Tips Films Limited's Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani. It will be directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, a Marathi writer-actor-director.
Meanwhile, Rohit Saraf is working on a number of other projects, including Mismatched Season 2 and Vikram Vedha.
