Rohit Shetty announces the biggest film in his cop universe Singham 3 starring Ajay Devgn to start filming next April

Bollywood’s best action director Rohit Shetty has directed 14 films over the course of 18 years, 12 of which have been commercially successful, and he is currently preparing for his 15th, Cirkus, a comedy of errors starring Ranveer Singh in a dual role. While the fans for it, the director has dropped a piece of good news for all the audiences as he announced his next film from his cop universe Singham 3 will begin its shooting next year.

In a recent interview, he shared, "We have already started working on Singham 3. It has been a long time since I made an out-and-out Singham film. We start the shoot next year in April. Ajay Sir is busy with his commitments and I am also busy with Cirkus. So, by April, we will start Singham 3. It is going to be the biggest cop universe ever that we have made to date.”

Further, Rohit said, "Ajay sir and Akshay sir come from an old school, where they believe in doing multiple hero films. Ranveer has the faith that I will present him in the right way. I never faced the problem of making such a cinema, but the young guys should not listen to their managers and start working on two hero films. They should leave their insecurity behind, otherwise, it will be difficult for the producers to make big-scale films. After 2 years, again the content films will work. But for the next 2 to 3 years, it's going to be the thing to make big-scale films in the right way with multiple heroes. Big scale is what the audience will come and watch.”

Following Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, this movie will be the fifth in the universe. Besides Ajay Devgn as Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty’s cop universe also includes Sidharth Malhotra as Kabir Malik in the upcoming web series Indian Police Force. While promoting his last released cop drama, Rohit revealed that a female cop will soon make an entry into his universe. He has said, “Yes, the female cop film is meant to happen and it will happen.”
