Recently, a picture of Sara and Shubman went viral on the internet, where the former can be seen hugging the latter. The image created a buzz among the fans and the media, who wondered if the couple had made their relationship official. However, a closer look at the picture revealed that it was a fake one, created by using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

The original picture featured Sara with her brother Arjun Tendulkar, who is also a cricketer. The picture was taken during the IPL 2020, where Arjun was a net bowler for Mumbai Indians. Someone had used AI to replace Arjun's face with Shubman's, and circulated the morphed image online. This is not the first time that Sara and Shubman have been targeted by such fake photo scandals.

Fake photos and videos of celebrities are becoming a common phenomenon in the digital age, where anyone can use AI tools to manipulate images and videos. Not long ago Katrina Kaif's vulgar edited pic went viral and before that Rashmika Mandanna's deepfake video went viral on the social media. These tools can create realistic-looking but false content, which can be used for various purposes, such as entertainment, satire, propaganda, or harassment.
