Recently, Saba took to social media and shared a couple of unseen pictures from the engagement ceremony of her parents- Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and legendary yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore.

The picture which drew the most 'awww' reaction is the one where Mansoor Ali Khan is putting on a ring on Sharmila Tagore's finger while the latter looks down, blushing red like a beetroot! In another snap, the royal couple could be seen looking into each other's eyes, lost in love.

"Will You MARRY ME? He asked... And she said, YES!" wrote Saba while sharing the pictures.

For starters, Sharmila Tagore made her acting debut at age 14 with Satyajit Ray's acclaimed Bengali drama The World of Apu (1959). Termed as one of the legendary actresses from the golden era of Bollywood, she is known for films like Kashmir Ki Kali (1964), An Evening in Paris (1967), Aradhana (1969), Amar Prem (1972), Daag (1973), Mausam (1975), Chupke Chupke (1975), and Namkeen (1982).

She married Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the titular Nawab of Pataudi and Bhopal and former captain of the Indian cricket team, on 27 December 1968. They had three children: Saif Ali Khan-a Bollywood actor, Saba Ali Khan- a jewellery designer, and Soha Ali Khan- a Bollywood actress and TV personality.

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi passed away at age 70, on 22 September 2011.

Meanwhile, Sharmila Tagore's last onscreen appearance was in the 2010 film Break Ke Baad, in which she played Deepika Padukone's mother Ayesha Khan.

She will next feature in a film titled Gulmohar, which is helmed by Rahul V. Chittella.
