Shubman and Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar, were previously linked. In the first ODI match against New Zealand, Gill scored 208 runs off just 149 balls, beating the previous record held by cricket great Sachin. Shubman is notable for being the youngest Indian cricketer to achieve a double century in a contest of 50 overs.

SHUBHMAN GILL SCORED IN ODI DOUBLE HUNDRED AGAINST NEW ZEALAND
In the opening game of the three-game series on Wednesday, Shubman Gill made history by scoring in ODI double hundred against New Zealand. After India won the toss and decided to bat first, he scored 208 runs. Because of Gill's double century, India set the Black Caps a lofty aim of 350 runs.
