On social media, a Salman Khan interview from the past is trending. He addressed rumours that he had slapped a woman in the video. This happened after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan claimed that Salman Khan had repeatedly harassed and physically abused her. After this, a journalist asked the actor in an interview with NDTV if he had raised his hand in the direction of a woman. Years later, he responded to this in a startling manner. In response to the woman's accusation, he remarked, “Now when the woman has said I have so.”

Then he remembered a time when he had been questioned about a similar occurrence; at that time, he had smashed the table and it had broken, and the journalist had been shocked. “if I hit somebody, it’s obviously a fight, I am going to be angry. I am going to whack and give it my best shot. I don’t think she would’ve survived it.” Neither Salman Khan nor the journalist disclosed the name in the clip. People are making assumptions about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan based on her prior statement, though. In 2002, the couple broke up and got separated.
