On his 57th birthday, Salman Khan welcomed thousands of fans who had gathered outside his residence to see him. They were all cheering for him from below as Salman waved to them from the balcony of his Galaxy flat. The police had to use lathicharge to push the mob away, nevertheless, when they became too large to control.

Large crowds of fans had been assembling outside of his Mumbai home since the morning. They remained still for a while. The gathering grew as soon as Salman and father Salim Khan arrived at his balcony to meet them, and the cops had to use a lathicharge on some of them to push them away. On camera, they can be seen fleeing while the cops beat them with sticks and take their shoes and other possessions.

An Instagram user also wrote, “Logo ko unki Berozgaari ka ehsaas dilaate hue Mumbai Police (Police are attempting to remind the public of their unemployment).” Another commented, “Jobless people, seriously kiske pass itna time hai godknows (who has time for all this, jobless people). A comment also read, ”they were going crazy and it was totally an outrage and to control them police has to do laathi charge." A person also commented, “Har baar ka he theatres me bi yahi sab hota tha jab jab Salman ki movie release hoti thi crazy fan's he salmaians (These are the individuals who dance along to his films while watching them in theatres).”
SALMAN THANKED HIS FAN ON INSTAGRAM
Salman also posted a photo on Instagram to express his gratitude. He only penned the words "Thank you all." Salim Khan, who was wearing a blue check shirt, was standing next to the actor, who was wearing a grey t-shirt.
