Salman Khan hospitalised after a snake bites him at his Panvel farmhouse

The actor was discharged this morning at around 9 AM after doctors administered an anti-venom dose to him.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was admitted to hospital in Kamothe in Navi Mumbai last night after a non-venomous snake bit him at his Panvel farmhouse at around 3 AM. However, the actor was discharged this morning at around 9 AM after doctors administered an anti-venom dose to him. Khan has returned to his farmhouse in Panvel.

According to reports, the snake was non-poisonous. Khan is recovering well at his farmhouse after being discharged from the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the Forest Department has sent a team to the farmhouse to check the surroundings. If sources close to the Khan family are to be believed, their Panvel farmhouse is populated with several snakes. In fact, a cobra was spotted at the farmhouse a couple of years ago.

Salman Khan, who was most recently seen in Antim: The Final Truth (2021), is gearing up to celebrate his 56th birthday tomorrow on December 27. But the family may decide against any lavish celebration in the wake of the incident. 

On the work front, Salman Khan will soon begin the next schedule of Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. He also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in the pipeline. To be directed by Farhad Samji, the family entertainer also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
