Salman Khan not keen to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali? Full story inside

The association between veteran filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bollywood super star Salman Khan goes back to the 1990s. The duo collaborated for some sucessful films like 'Khamoshi: The Musical' and the epic love saga 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.

Not so long ago, it was reported that Bhansali had cast Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan for a film titled 'Inshallah'. However, fans were disappointed when the project was shelved for unknown reasons.

But it has now come to light that the film was scrapped due to a huge showdown between SLB and Khan. Production designer Rubin Suchak recently confided that the movie was called off due to huge differences between the two.

Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali not working together anytime soon?

Speaking to a TV news channel, Suchak said that the film couldn't see the light of the day due to a huge rift between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan. After this, Khan had walked away from the sets.

"Post the showdown, Salman and Bhansali did not want to do the film anymore,” he added.

While this is surely a disheartening news for fans who were expecting SLB and Sallu Bhai to reunite after more than 20 years, we only hope that the duo bury the hatchet and come together soon for a film that'll leave viewers spellbound.

Salman Khan will next feature in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and 'Tiger 3'

On work front, Salman Khan will next feature in Farhad Samji's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Shehnaz Gill, Bhagyashree, Bhumika Chawla and Jassie Gill among others.

Featuring cameos by 'RRR' actor Ram Charan and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' is slated for an Eid release on 21 April 2023.

Besides, Salman will reprise his act of Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger in the third franchise of the Tiger series titled 'Tiger 3'. Also starring Katrina Kaif, the film is slated to hit the theatres in the later half of 2023.
