Sam Bahadur Star Vicky Kaushal Opens Up About Insecurities Playing Sam Manekshaw!
On November 7, people were thrilled to see the trailer for Meghna Gulzar's 'Sam Bahadur,' which stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. During the lunch event, Vicky Kaushal admitted that he had first worries about his looks and whether he was good enough to play Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Still, he thanked director Meghna Gulzar for giving him the difficult part.

Sam Bahadur Biopic Idea Origin:
The idea for the biopic came about while Vicky Kaushal was filming 'Raazi' in Patiala. Meghna told Vicky that she wanted to make a movie about Sam Manekshaw. Vicky had heard a lot about Manekshaw from his Punjabi parents, but the Field Marshal's good looks surprised her when he quietly Googled a picture of him while they were talking. He revealed that he was worried that he wasn't "handsome enough" for the part, and then he thanked Meghna for choosing him at the audition.

About Sam Bahadur:
'Sam Bahadur' is about the amazing journey of Sam Manekshaw, including his important roles in World War II and as Chief of Army Staff during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, which was a key time in the history of Bangladesh. It looks like Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh, who play Vicky Kaushal's wife and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, will give the story more emotional depth and historical importance. The film is set to release on 1st December 2023.
