Samantha Ruth Prabhu responds to Salman Khan saying that the song Oo Antava from Pushpa inspired him
In the Allu Arjun starrer blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Samantha Ruth Prabhu captivated the audience with her sensual and daring moves in the dance number Oo Antava. When the song was released in December last year, it immediately shot to the top of music charts throughout the country. The song also gained liking from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
A video from the recently concluded IIFA Awards in Dubai is going viral, in which the anchor is seen asking Salman if there has recently been a song that has inspired him. The Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) actor, who also hosted the award show, begins singing Oo Antava before leaving in his signature manner.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu saw the video as it spread like wildfire throughout the internet. The actress tweeted about it and added three hearts emojis in the caption. Devi Sri Prasad, who composed the song, also responded to the video when he uploaded it on social media with the caption "Thank You Dear Salman Bhaaaii."
On the work front, Samantha is currently working on a number of films that will be released this year, including the science fiction action thriller Yashoda and the mythological drama Shakuntalam. Additionally, she will star alongside Vijay Deverakonda in romantic comedy Kushi.
