Sanjay Kapoor joins Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi on the cast of Merry Christmas
According to reports, Sanjay Kapoor has been roped in to star in renowned filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s next directorial venture, Merry Christmas. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
Sharing more details, a well-placed source tells a publication, “Sanjay plays an extremely important role in the film. However, his character details have been kept under the wraps, though his part will have multiple layers. He will start shooting for the film this month. Katrina and Vijay are filming in Mumbai, and will move to Pune soon for another schedule.
The makers officially announced Merry Christmas on December 25, 2021. Well-known producer Ramesh Taurani is bankrolling the much-anticipated film under the banner of Tips Industries, in association with Sanjay Routray.
Sharing an image with Vijay Sethupathi and the makers on Instagram, Katrina Kaif wrote, “BACK ON SET with director Sriram Raghavan for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir. He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it is an honor to be directed by him. Super excited to be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for this one produced by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray.”
Meanwhile, Sanjay Kapoor can be currently seen in Netflix’s The Fame Game. The show stars Madhuri Dixit in the lead role.
