Sara Ali Khan reacts to Kartik Aaryan’s success in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2; walks away when asked if she misses him
With back-to-back successful films, Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has established himself as a superstar in recent years. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), co-starring Tabu and Kiara Advani, is his most recent and highest-grossing film.
The horror-comedy surpassed the ₹100 crore mark in its first ten days. Kartik’s performance in the Anees Bazmee directed film has been acclaimed by both audiences and his co-stars. Sara Ali Khan, his rumoured ex-girlfriend, recently spoke about the film's success.
The Kedarnath (2018) actress was asked to comment on the peaks that Kartik's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is touching during a media interaction at the 22nd IIFA Awards last night. The actress replied, “Congratulations to everybody that’s doing well, the industry needs it. And may everybody's films do well. May the audience shower all of us with love.”
Sara politely answered 'thank you' and moved away when the paparazzo mentioned that everyone is missing Kartik because he was unable to attend the awards due to COVID-19.
Sara and Kartik are said to have started dating soon after Sara admitted on Koffee With Karan that she had a crush on the Dhamaka (2021) actor. According to rumours, their romance ended abruptly just after they wrapped filming Love Aaj Kal (2020), their first project together.
Kartik and Sara, who have reportedly moved on in their personal life, are rumored to be reuniting on-screen for an upcoming project. However, no official confirmation has been made.
