With Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie was a resounding success, and Simmba, another hit, came after it. What followed was unimaginable, as the actress sang Love Aaj Kal and was viciously mocked for "overacting." See her apparent comments about her split from Kartik Aaryan and how the failure affected her by scrolling down.
As most people are aware, Sara had the biggest infatuation imaginable on Kartik. When she appeared on Koffee With Karan with her father, Saif Ali Khan, she spoke up about how she was feeling. Soon after, Imtiaz Ali cast the couple in a film, and they became an instant hit. Regrettably, the couple split up soon before the romantic drama was released.
During The Ranveer Show podcast, Sara Ali Khan hinted at her split from Kartik Aaryan by declaring 2020 the worst year! She started, “2020 just got progressively worse. It started with a breakup and kept getting worse. It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet.”
Sara Ali Khan stated in response to the vicious critics who attacked her Love Aaj Kal portrayal: “Sometimes, when you know you deserve the trolling or when something is really bad, the fact that it is on the internet is so incidental and so trivial compared to the fact that it happened, that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re heartbroken, miserable, exhausted, scared, nervous, kya farak padta hai 20 logg padd rahe hain, khud apne andar jwalamukhi ho raha hai (It doesn’t matter that 20 people are reading about it since you are so disturbed yourself), that it doesn’t matter.”
In an upcoming movie directed by Laxman Utekar, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal.
